Seeing the world as it really is can be harder than it sounds. Even though we’re adrift on a sea of information, it’s still easy to be misled or under-informed on critical issues. It’s not so much a matter of being told outright falsehoods as it’s a matter of understanding how mass media works and what happens when crucial facts are omitted. We also discuss worthwhile ways to become better informed no matter what information sources you’re accessing.
