114: Hannah Cox on Abolishing the Death Penalty

Concern over the death penalty isn’t just limited to bleeding hearts and liberals. It’s not a matter of coddling criminals. DNA evidence and other technological advances are proving that genuinely innocent people are sitting on Death Row or have been executed. Questions about the inefficiency, inequity and inaccuracy within the justice system mean that opposition to the death penalty is finding acceptance in conservative circles as well. Hannah Cox from Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty joins us to discuss the issue.

Hannah Cox is the National Manager of Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty. She has worked with the Beacon Center of Tennessee, the Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA), the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Entertainment One. Hannah graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Belmont University and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board for This Is Living Ministries, a Tennessee nonprofit that works with women struggling with addiction who are leaving the criminal justice system.
